Do you use your own cleaning products and equipment?
Yes – all equipment and cleaning products are supplied. However, if you prefer that we use your own, just let us know in advance and we’re happy to accommodate.
Is JOJ Cleaning a team or an individual?
All services are carried out by one reliable, experienced cleaner – not a rotating team. You’ll always know who’s coming to your home or office.
Do you clean commercial properties or large homes?
No – we focus on small to medium offices, apartments, and small to medium homes only. This allows us to deliver a high standard of service with a personal touch.
Are you fully insured?
Yes – JOJ Cleaning is fully insured for your peace of mind. We hold $20 million Public Liability cover, are Police Checked, and have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Can I request a cleaning checklist?
Of course – if you’d like to see what’s typically included in your service, we’re happy to provide a checklist and tailor it to your space.
Do you offer eco-friendly cleaning options?
Yes – if you prefer low-tox or eco-friendly products, just let us know at the time of booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Booking & Availability
How far in advance should I book?
For Exit Cleans we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance, especially around busy times like month-end or school holidays. However, feel free to reach out – we’ll always try to fit you in if we can.
Can I request the same day and time for each clean?
Yes – for recurring services, we’ll confirm a regular time slot. We aim to keep your booking consistent unless rescheduling is required.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes. If less than 24 hours notice is not given, this will incur a fee.
Do you offer last-minute cleans?
No we do not offer last minute cleans.

Payments & Pricing
How do I pay for my clean?
Payment is typically made via bank transfer, unless otherwise arranged. Details will be provided when your booking is confirmed.
Do you provide quotes before booking?
Yes – we’ll give you a clear, obligation-free quote based on the size of your space and the service required. There are no hidden charges.
Are there any extra fees for evenings?
No – pricing is based on the service, not the time of day. Office cleaning is done after hours as standard, at no additional cost.
Do you charge GST?
Yes GST applies.
Cleaning Policies & Expectations
What should I do to prepare for my clean?
Please make sure we have access to the property and that personal or valuable items are safely stored. If you’d like specific areas prioritised, just let us know.
What if I’m not happy with something?
We genuinely care about your satisfaction. If something isn’t right, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll return to fix it.
Do you move furniture during cleaning?
We’ll clean around and under easily movable items, but we don’t shift heavy furniture or large appliances for safety reasons.
Will I receive reminders for upcoming cleans?
Yes – we’ll confirm your initial booking and provide reminders for recurring services, so you always know what to expect.
Can I be home during the clean?
Yes – you’re welcome to be home, step out, or leave instructions for access. Whatever you’re most comfortable with, we’ll work around it.
Do you clean during public holidays?
No – if your regular clean falls on a holiday we’ll contact you ahead of time to reschedule.
